Dental care for DVA card holders

Dr Justin Lee is a long-standing registered DVA provider at Westfield Belconnen. If you hold a Veteran Gold or White Card, your dental care is billed directly to DVA, with no out-of-pocket cost for covered treatment.

What your card covers

Veteran Gold Card

All clinically necessary dental treatment

DVA funds dental services needed to meet a clinical need, for all conditions, whether or not they are related to your service.

Veteran White Card

Treatment for accepted conditions only

Dental treatment is funded where it relates to a condition DVA has accepted as service-related. Bring your card or show your accepted conditions in MyService.

Veteran Orange Card

Does not include dental treatment

The Orange Card covers certain pharmaceuticals and supplies, not dental care. You're still very welcome as a private patient.

No bill for covered treatment

The practice bills DVA directly using the DVA fee schedule. You shouldn't receive an invoice for treatment covered under your card. If any part of a plan sits outside DVA cover, you'll be told before it happens and given a written quote.

Routine & preventive care

Check-ups, cleans and general care generally don't require prior approval from DVA.

Higher-cost treatment

Crowns, bridges and extensive restorative work can need prior financial authorisation, and a two-yearly limit applies to that category. Dr Justin arranges this for you.

Booking your appointment

Book online and choose Dr Justin Lee, or call (02) 6251 5100 and mention you're a DVA card holder. Let reception know at the time of booking so everything is set up before you arrive.
