This website, drjustinlee.com.au, is the personal professional website of Dr Justin Lee, a general dentist practising at Pacific Smiles Dental Belconnen, Westfield Belconnen, Benjamin Way, Belconnen ACT 2617.

Dr Justin Lee is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Health service providers are covered by the Privacy Act regardless of business size. This policy is written to meet the requirements of APP 1.

This policy applies to this website only. It explains what happens when you browse these pages. It does not cover the dental records or health information held about you as a patient, which is addressed in the next section.

Dental treatment at Pacific Smiles Dental Belconnen is delivered from a centre operated by Pacific Smiles Group. Your patient records, clinical notes, treatment history, billing information and appointment records are created and held by Pacific Smiles Group, not by this website.

If you want to access, correct or make a complaint about your dental records or any health information held about you, you should contact the practice directly on (02) 6251 5100 or refer to Pacific Smiles Group's own privacy policy. Health records in the ACT are also subject to the Health Records (Privacy and Access) Act 1997 (ACT).

This website does not store, transmit or have access to your dental records.

This website has no contact forms, no account sign-up, no newsletter and no payment processing. It does not ask you to enter any personal information.

The only information collected when you visit is:

• Technical and usage information collected automatically by analytics and hosting services, such as your IP address, approximate location (usually city level), device and browser type, the pages you view, how long you spend on them, and the site or search that referred you.
• Interaction events recording when a visitor selects a booking button, phone number or email link, and which page it was selected from. These are recorded as anonymous events to understand which parts of the site are useful. They do not record who you are.

If you choose to phone or email using the links on this site, that contact goes directly to the practice. This website does not record, store or intercept those calls or emails.

• HotDoc (online booking) provides the booking tool on the Book page. If you make a booking, you provide your details directly to HotDoc and the practice, not to this website. Their handling of that information is governed by HotDoc's privacy policy.
• Google Analytics, Google Maps and Google Fonts load content from Google and share your IP address with Google. See Google's privacy policy.
• Website hosting uses Lovable and Cloudflare infrastructure. Standard server logs, which may include IP addresses, are generated for security and reliability.

The third-party services above store and process information on servers that may be located outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where those providers operate data centres.

This means information collected automatically through this website, such as your IP address and usage data, is likely to be disclosed to overseas recipients. Reasonable steps are taken to use reputable providers that publish their own privacy commitments, but Dr Justin Lee does not control how those providers operate.

Information collected through this website is used only to:

Complaints about clinical care or dental records should be directed to the practice, and may also be raised with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the ACT Human Rights Commission.

This website links to other sites, including the online booking tool and mapping services. Those sites are not controlled by Dr Justin Lee and have their own privacy policies. This policy does not apply to them.
